Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar, found in the body that gives the skin moisture, volume, and elasticity. Each syringe is 1ml, which is just 1/5 of a teaspoon. Therefore, 5 syringes would equal 1 teaspoon. This teaspoon transformation treatment includes five (5) syringes of Restylane products, customized to each individual patient’s needs, that are carefully planned and strategically placed to give each patient a natural-looking, more youthful appearance of the face. The goal is for you to still look like you, just like you a few years back!

Restylane and its family of fillers consist of products that use Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as their primary ingredient. This is an excellent option for any dermal filler as it is native to our own skin tissue and simply replaces the HA that we have lost as we age. It consists of a clear gel formulation of HA specifically designed to help visibly correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, restore volume loss, and lift the skin to minimize drooping caused by facial aging.

THESE SYMPTOMS TYPICALLY RESOLVE WITHIN DAYS, HOWEVER, SOME BRUISING COULD PERSIST FOR 10-14 DAYS. PLEASE PLAN ON THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING A BRUISE AND MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY MAJOR EVENTS FOR A MINIMUM OF 2 WEEKS FOLLOWING YOUR INJECTIONS. IF THIS MAY BE A CONFLICT WITH YOUR UPCOMING SCHEDULE, PLEASE NOTIFY OUR OFFICE SO WE CAN ADJUST YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT ACCORDINGLY.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT THE OFFICE WITHOUT MAKE-UP. IF YOU ARRIVE AT THE OFFICE WITH MAKE-UP ON, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO REMOVE YOUR MAKE-UP FULLY. THIS IS A MEDICAL PROCEDURE, AND THE SKIN WILL BE THOROUGHLY CLEANED PRIOR TO INJECTIONS. AVOID TAKING ASPIRIN, NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDS) SUCH AS IBUPROFEN, ADVIL, MOTRIN, ETC, VITAMIN E, FISH OIL, GINKGO BILBOA, AND GARLIC 10-14 DAYS PRIOR TO THE PROCEDURE. THESE DRUGS AND HERBS CAN INCREASE BRUISING. **IF YOU HAVE BEEN PUT ON ASPIRIN OR A BLOOD THINNER FOR MEDICAL REASONS, PLEASE SPEAK WITH YOUR PRESCRIBING HEALTHCARE PROVIDER BEFORE DISCONTINUING .**

DO NOT SCHEDULE DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS WITHIN 4 WEEKS BEFORE OR AFTER ANY DENTAL PROCEDURES, INCLUDING CLEANINGS.

DO NOT SCHEDULE DERMAL FILLER INJECTIONS WITHIN 2 WEEKS BEFORE OR AFTER ANY VACCINES, IMMUNIZATIONS, OR BOOSTERS.

YOU CAN NOT HAVE THE FILLER TREATMENT IF YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE COLD SORE, AN ACNE BREAKOUT NEAR THE TREATMENT AREA, OR AN OPEN WOUND OR INFECTION NEAR THE TREATMENT AREA. PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE AND RESCHEDULE IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARISE NEAR YOUR TREATMENT DATE.
