Cosmetic Injectables
IMPORTANT FILLER AND SCULPTRA PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Injections cannot be performed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If you develop a cold sore, blemish, or rash, etc. prior to your appointment you must reschedule.
If you have a special event or vacation coming up schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks in advance as bruising and swelling can occur post-procedure.
Discontinue Retin-A two (2) days before and two (2) days after treatment.
It is recommended to discontinue the use of Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E or any other essential fatty acids 1 week before treatment to minimize bruising or bleeding. If you have been prescribed any of the above by your healthcare provider, or if you are currently on any prescription blood thinners, please consult with your prescribing healthcare provider prior to discontinuing any medications or supplements.
Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours before and after your treatment.
Avoid cigarettes for 24-48 hours before and after your treatment.
Avoid dental work (including dental cleanings) for 1 month before and after treatment. Please reschedule your treatment if you have already had dental work within 30 days of your scheduled injectable treatment.
Avoid vaccines for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after treatment. Please reschedule your treatment if you have already had a vaccine within 2 weeks of your scheduled injectable treatment.
Please come to your scheduled treatment without any makeup on. Please note that you should not re-apply make-up until the following day.
INJECTABLE APPOINTMENT POLICIES
Appointment Policy: Please notify the office if you are running late for your scheduled appointment. In order to keep on schedule and value everyone’s time, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you arrive more than 15 minutes late and charge the late cancellation fee.
Injectable Deposits: Due to the high demand for our injector, Trisha Kennedy Roman, MSN, FNP-BC, NP-C, and because a significant time commitment is made and held exclusively for you, a deposit of $150 is required to schedule all dermal filler and Sculptra appointments. This deposit will be applied in full to your injectable service at your scheduled appointment. We require a 48-hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please see the Cancellation/No-Show policy below.
Late Cancellations (Less than 48-hour notice): We kindly as that you provide at least a 48-hour notice if you have to cancel or reschedule our appointment. This allows us the opportunity to give your allotted appointment time to another patient on our waitlist. If you reschedule or cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged a fee of $75, deducted from your initial deposit.
No-Show Policy: If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without any notice prior to your appointment time, you will be assessed a $150 no-show fee, forfeiting your deposit.
Minor Policy: To ensure the safety of your children, as well as to maintain a relaxing environment for our patients, we ask that you make child-care arrangements prior to your appointment. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the treatment rooms.
