Botox Treatments: Everything You Need to Know

Botox is one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments worldwide. It is a non-surgical, FDA-approved, minimally-invasive, in-office treatment that can dramatically reduce facial fine lines and wrinkles.

What is Botox?

Botox is the brand name for a purified protein that is used to help relax and soften the underlying muscles in specific parts of the face. In the hands of a well-trained injector, this treatment can improve an individual's appearance by reducing the contraction of facial muscles in the treated area, relaxing the muscles, and thereby smoothing fine lines and wrinkles that are caused by repeated contraction of facial muscles. Botox can also slow the formation of new lines and wrinkles and give your face a more youthful appearance.
